Families of alcoholics and addicts often feel confused, frustrated, angry, and helpless. The Family program helps to alleviate confusion and anxiety and promotes healing by identifying how addiction affects families and what family members can do to take care of themselves. By becoming aware of the beliefs and experiences that shape their own behaviors, participants identify new, healthy ways of coping with addiction and relationships.

Family Healing Strategies is authored and facilitated by noted Family and Addiction Consultant Diana Clark, JD, MA. As both a specialist in addiction and family systems, Diana is a recognized force of clear thought, logic and loving acceptance – moving families to engage in behaviors which aid in the recovery process. Her program is designed for family members who have a loved one in a program of recovery. It educates them about addiction as a disease, encourages examination of their roles in the family system and provides strategies for identifying and addressing addictive behavior.
