Admissions

We are available at any time to arrange assessments, admissions, facilitate transportation and schedule visits. While residents are typically referred to Turning Point by primary addiction treatment programs, you are not required to come to us directly from alcohol or drug treatment. You may self–refer or be referred by family members.

In addition, we regularly receive referrals from:

  • Physicians
  • Psychologists
  • Alcohol & Drug Counselors
  • Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
  • Employee Assistance Professionals (EAP)
  • Detox Facilities
  • Clergy
  • Attorneys, etc.

Prospective residents who are not currently in a primary alcohol or drug treatment program will be asked to complete a brief, confidential telephone assessment. Once the assessment is completed, our staff will determine the most appropriate level of care, either in our program or elsewhere.

If another level or care is indicated, we will make referrals to the appropriate professional service providers including interventionists and addiction treatment programs as needed. If our staff recommends admission into our program, they will schedule a date for you to arrive.
